Wooden Boxes

Wooden Boxes
These Original Finish Wooden Boxes have always been some of my favorite workhorses of the early home. Each one retains its untouched surface, whether that is a dry, crusty paint or a mellow, time-darkened wash that has never seen a modern brush.

Inside, you may still catch the faint scent of old wood and soap, or see the marks of tools and sewing notions long gone. Outside, the wear falls exactly where it should - on lids, corners, and around iron pulls or simple cut-out handles. I look for boxes with solid construction and good color so they can be stacked, lined up on a shelf, or set out as single statement pieces.

They are perfect for tucking away papers, remotes, craft supplies, or seasonal odds and ends while still looking entirely period-correct. If you tell me what you hope to store, I can recommend sizes and forms that will be both handy and handsome.
